What is a delivery route planner?
A delivery route planner is an app that takes a list of addresses and works out the order to visit them, so the whole run takes the least time or distance. A map app gets you from A to B. A route planner decides whether B, C or D should come first. MyWay does that for up to 200 stops per route and then opens each stop in the nav app you prefer.
Can Google Maps plan a delivery route?
Only a short one, and you put it in order yourself. Google Maps takes up to 9 stops, including the final destination, and keeps them in the order you enter or drag them (Google Maps Help). With 20 or 60 orders, that means splitting the day into batches and sorting each one by hand. MyWay orders all the stops at once, and you can still navigate in Google Maps.
Is there a free delivery route planner?
Yes. MyWay’s free Starter plan optimizes routes of up to 15 stops, which covers a small daily run. For longer runs, the Pro plan optimizes up to 200 stops per route and starts with a 7-day free trial.
Can I set delivery time windows?
Yes. Each stop can have a time window, an ASAP priority and a time at stop — the minutes you expect to spend there. Set them before you optimize, so a delivery promised for the morning isn’t left for the afternoon.
What if an order comes in after the driver has left?
Add the stop to the route and optimize again. MyWay re-optimizes only the stops that are left, so the part of the run that is already done stays as it is. You can also skip a stop or drag it to a different place by hand.
How do I show that an order was delivered?
Collect proof of delivery at the stop: a photo, a signature or a note, whichever your business needs. When the run is over, export the route as PDF, Excel or CSV and keep it as the record of the day — useful when a customer calls to ask where the order is.

Yes. Each driver downloads MyWay on their own phone and can start for free with routes of up to 15 stops. You can build a route and send it to a driver as a link, and when a driver’s routes get longer, the Pro plan optimizes up to 200 stops per route — try it free for 7 days.
