Short answer: RoadWarrior and MyWay both build optimized multi-stop routes, and both have a product for solo drivers and one for teams. For a solo driver, MyWay Route Planner costs $9.99 a month, against $15 for RoadWarrior Pro, and plans bigger routes: up to 200 stops, against RoadWarrior Pro’s 120. MyWay’s free plan also optimizes your route, which RoadWarrior’s does not. For teams, RoadWarrior Teams is available today; MyWay Teams — our dispatch version with live driver tracking — is coming soon. And you feel the difference the moment you open the app: RoadWarrior’s interface is dated and complex next to MyWay’s modern, simple one.
Key differences
Solo drivers: RoadWarrior vs MyWay Route Planner
- Monthly price. MyWay Pro costs $9.99 a month; RoadWarrior Pro costs $15 — $60 a year more.
- Yearly price. MyWay Expert costs $79.99 a year; RoadWarrior Pro costs $120 a year.
- Route size. MyWay plans up to 200 stops per route today, and 500 stops per route is coming soon. RoadWarrior Pro stops at 120.
- The free plan. MyWay’s free plan optimizes routes of up to 15 stops. RoadWarrior’s free plan takes up to 8 stops and does not optimize them at all — you get a list, not a route.
- Proof of delivery. On MyWay, photo proof is part of every plan, including the free one. RoadWarrior Pro offers check-in and proof of visit; photo and signature proof is described as a paid add-on for Teams.
- A daily optimization quota. RoadWarrior Pro allows 500 optimizations a day, and every re-optimization of a route counts — 50 stops re-optimized 10 times uses the whole day. MyWay has no daily optimization quota.
- Free routes stay on one phone. RoadWarrior’s free routes are only accessible on the device you created them on.
- Platforms. MyWay runs on iOS, Android and the web. RoadWarrior runs on iOS and Android; its web portal is part of Teams.
- Interface. RoadWarrior’s interface is dated — some people call it old — and in our experience everyday actions take more taps than they should. MyWay is modern and simple: add, optimize, drive.
Teams: RoadWarrior Teams vs MyWay Teams
- RoadWarrior Teams is available today. It costs $49 a month plus $20 per driver, plans routes of up to 200 stops and adds a web portal, dispatch and real-time driver tracking. Photo and signature proof of delivery is a paid add-on, and optimizations are still metered: 500 a day plus 500 per driver.
- MyWay Teams is coming soon — a web dashboard for dispatchers and live driver tracking.
- Until then, MyWay keeps a team simple: every driver uses MyWay Route Planner Pro at $9.99 a month, with proof of delivery already in the app.
Features
RoadWarrior
RoadWarrior Pro imports stops from spreadsheets and, once support sets it up for you by email, FedEx or OnTrac manifests; it adds stops from a photo, respects time windows and shares your ETA. RoadWarrior will suit pretty much anyone who uses it for delivery; in our experience it is less comfortable for other kinds of work.

RoadWarrior Route Planner
MyWay Route Planner and MyWay Teams
MyWay Route Planner covers the whole working day of a driver who plans their own route. Add stops by typing, by importing a CSV or Excel file, or by taking a photo of your list. Give each stop the details you need — an apartment number, a colour, a contact to call on arrival — with customizable stop fields. MyWay tries thousands of stop orders to find the fastest one, respects time windows and priorities, and can avoid U-turns or account for the size of your vehicle. Proof of delivery is included on every plan, even the free one.
This is where the difference shows on a real route. A 150-stop day fits in one MyWay route on the $9.99 plan; on RoadWarrior Pro it has to be split, and you pay $15 for it. MyWay also covers work beyond parcels — sales visits, property management, service calls. MyWay Teams, coming soon, adds the dispatcher’s side: a web dashboard and live tracking of every driver.

MyWay Route Planner
Ease of use
RoadWarrior’s interface is dated — some people call it old. It works, but in our experience the screens are crowded and everyday actions take more taps than they should.
MyWay is built for speed on the road. The important information stays on screen, everything else is one tap away, and adding or closing a stop takes a second. A second here, half a second there: on a route with hundreds of stops, that saves 3–5 minutes every day.
