Short answer: Route4Me and MyWay both build optimized multi-stop routes, and both have a product for solo drivers and one for teams. For a solo driver both start at $9.99 a month, but the plans are not the same: on Route4Me’s $9.99 Basic plan you can’t even mark a stop as visited or add a note to it — that takes the Enhanced plan at $19.99 a month. MyWay Pro gives you stop status, notes, proof of delivery and time windows for $9.99, plus a bigger free plan and the web version. Route4Me’s paid plans have no stop limit per route. For teams, Route4Me’s business plans are available today, priced on request; MyWay Teams — our dispatch version with live driver tracking — is coming soon. And you feel the difference the moment you open the app: Route4Me’s interface is dated and complex next to MyWay’s modern, simple one.
Key differences
Solo drivers: Route4Me vs MyWay Route Planner
- $9.99 buys less on Route4Me. Its Basic plan ($9.99 a month, $79.99 a year) plans unlimited stops, but, according to its App Store listing, marking a stop as visited or not visited and adding notes to a stop come only with Enhanced at $19.99 a month. On MyWay Pro at $9.99 you close stops, keep notes in customizable stop fields and collect photo proof of delivery.
- The yearly price. MyWay Expert costs $79.99 a year with everything included. Route4Me Enhanced costs $199.99 a year — $120 more.
- Time windows. MyWay respects time windows on every plan. Route4Me lists time windows only for its Business and Enterprise plans — not for the mobile plans, and not even for its cheapest business plan.
- The free plan. MyWay’s free plan plans routes of up to 15 stops, with no limit on the number of routes. Route4Me’s free plan stops at 10 stops, and each route expires after 7 days.
- Platforms. MyWay runs on iOS, Android and the web. On Route4Me the web app comes only with the business plans.
- Route size. Route4Me’s mobile plan has no stop limit per route. MyWay plans up to 200 stops per route today, and 500 stops per route is coming soon.
- Interface. In our experience Route4Me feels dated and complex: dense menus, many settings, and pop-ups — like the screen asking you to subscribe to premium — that interrupt your work. MyWay is modern and simple, and stays out of your way.
Teams: Route4Me business plans vs MyWay Teams
- Route4Me’s business plans are available today, with a web dashboard, dispatch, GPS tracking, signatures and photos, and email notifications. The cheapest one, Route Optimization, has no time windows, no pickup and drop-off and cannot optimize across several drivers — those start with Business Optimization.
- Many essentials are paid add-ons on every plan: text message notifications, recurring routes, avoidance zones, routing for commercial vehicles and delivery workflows. Order label scanning and longer data retention are “Contact us”. The plan prices themselves are not on the page either.
- MyWay Teams is coming soon — a web dashboard for dispatchers and live driver tracking.
- Until then, MyWay keeps a team simple: every driver uses MyWay Route Planner Pro at $9.99 a month, with a price you can see before you talk to anyone.
Features
Route4Me
Route4Me has tons of features, which is great if you don’t mind spending time on the perfect set-up. The catch is where they sit: on the phone, stop status and notes need the $19.99 Enhanced plan; on the business side, time windows need Business Optimization, and SMS notifications, recurring routes and avoidance zones are add-ons you buy on top. It is hard to know the full cost up front.

Route4Me Route Planner
MyWay Route Planner and MyWay Teams
MyWay Route Planner covers the whole working day of a driver who plans their own route. Add stops by typing, by importing a CSV or Excel file, or by taking a photo of your list. Give each stop the details you need — an apartment number, a colour, a contact to call on arrival — with customizable stop fields. MyWay tries thousands of stop orders to find the fastest one, respects time windows and priorities, and can avoid U-turns or account for the size of your vehicle. Proof of delivery is included on every plan, even the free one.
This is where the difference shows on a real route. MyWay does not have every feature Route4Me has, but the ones a driver uses every day work really well — and they are all in one plan, with no marketplace to shop in. MyWay Teams, coming soon, adds the dispatcher’s side: a web dashboard and live tracking of every driver.

MyWay Route Planner
Ease of use
Route4Me has a classic, complex user interface. It is full of menus and settings, and in our experience it shows a lot of pop-ups and windows that interrupt your work — such as the screen asking you to subscribe to premium.
MyWay is built for speed on the road. The important information stays on screen, everything else is one tap away, and adding or closing a stop takes a second. A second here, half a second there: on a route with hundreds of stops, that saves 3–5 minutes every day. Next to Route4Me, MyWay feels more modern and stays out of your way.
